TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Road blocker is the most commonly-used system in the areas such as military facilities, government buildings, embassies, production facilities, oil refineries, hotels, airports and stadiums where the entries-exits must be made in a controlled and safe manner against any vehicle attacks.The system’s case is designed as resistant to hits by vehicles , and all relevant components of the systems are strengthened against any attacks. Our Road Blockers Systems work uninterruptedly even at the highest-density places thanks to the hydraulic operation system. This system of Road Blockers is synchronized with the rising bollard and other safety systems, and keeps the defense at the maximum level in case of possible attacks, and thus ensures the secure entrance of the vehicles into relevant areas.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Optima HRR-HS-4100 hydraulic Road Blockers test is conducted according to PAS68: V/7500[N3]/80/90:8.6/13.5 standards. HRR-HS-4100 Series crash tested Road Blockers are designed especially for entrance points which have a threat of vehicle attack or for the ones that have high security requirements. If there is a threat of vehicle attack in addition to the control of vehicle access in high security applications, hydraulic road blockers are the unique solution and the most secure systems. Even though the attack is from high tonnage vehicles with high speeds, it’s not possible for the vehicle to keep on moving because of the damage given to front, wheels and the bottom of the vehicle.
Drive unit is hydraulic, but in case of power failure road blocker can be lowered or lifted manually with the help of manual hand pumps and valves. With the help of PLC controlled electronics, raise/lower function can be achieved by every kind of card readers, biometric readers like fingerprint or hand shape, radio control, on/off key switch etc. Besides, safety accessories like, inductive loop detectors, flashing lights or red/green lights can be integrated to the system.

Cylinder Unit : Double-effect and double-speed 63 mm. Equipped with a valve system that prevents
leakage and provide operation in case of hose burst/fracture.

– 20-45 Bar pressure; maximum running pressure is 120 Bar
System :– All limit switches are IP68 effective sensors; there exists 4 pieces inside the cabinet
– Having Downward, Upward, Stop, and Emergency inputs; in addition, there exists
outside sensor inputs/outputs (e.g. Loop detector, Beam detector, Signalization, Remote
control, and similar)
– System alerts with an audio signal during lowering and raising operation. There exists a
strong siren output to be utilized in case of alarm or emergency situations
– Could be lowered or raised in case of emergency situations (User’s preference)
– (Option: Could be lowered and raised manually in case of energy failure with integration
of manual pump)

Cabinet :– All constructions parts are hot dip galvanised and painted
– Made up of U-shaped profiles and Box profile constructions
– Constructed with the strengthened steel construction that enables the “balance
adjustment mechanism” at the ground level
– There exists 20 pieces of special apparatus at the lateral sections that facilitates
concrete mounting/fixing operations.
– The blocker and cabinet is designed so that no vehicle crashing effect can displace after
embedded or installed to the ground
-Alarm and Liquid Level Sensor for Drainage Problem.
Blocker | :– All construction parts are hot-dip-galvanised and painted steel constructions. The Construction is aesthetically and functionally completed with reflecting strips and |
warning signs
– The Hinge Road Blockers system is specially designed to have a flattened surface level with the top
plate so that no ridge level effect can cause the vehicle while passing over the blocker unit
when closed.
With the help of this system; during the upward/downward running operation the gap at
the blocker top plate back-edge and cabinet housing stays 2mm at maximum. This
property increases the safety of the people during the operations of the blockers
– The internal construction of the blocker unit is made up of 4 pieces of evenly distributed
impact absorption and distribution constructions that are strengthened U-Shaped vertical
steel profiles having a plate thickness of 4 mm each
– At the frontal crash-facing section, the vertical impact absorption parts are incorporated
with hot-dip-galvanized and painted solid steel sheets having a thickness of 4/5 mm
– Top plate where the vehicles pass over is made up of anti-slip hot-dip-galvanised and
painted steel panel having thickness of 6/6 mm
– System moves upward/downward directions through 5 pieces of 50 mm Stainless Steel
hinges
– Blocker unit rises 44° from the ground level. Equipped with built in reflecting lights at
the lateral panels (Option: Flashing light at the frontal radius panel)
– Specially designed for the crash resistance so that the front unit is not displaced from its
housing in case of a vehicle crashing
– Service and maintenance could easily be provided by means of the top lid placed on the
top plate that enables access to the internal units of the cabinet
Control Unit (Plc) :Standard Unit
– Provided with an IP 67 CRM box, Includes 4 switches for Downward, Upward, Stop,
Emergency Operations
– Can stop the block motion with the command/signal coming from detector
– Equipped with built-in Buzzer and LED audiovisual indications
– Control Unit optionally can be utilised through finger print, biometric systems, and
similar access control systems
Optional Unit
– Through the optional model “RB CONT.UNIT.V.001” users can monitor the diagnostic
functions
– Can be accessed through LAN, RS485 protocols
– System is provided inside a metal cabinet that also includes the other functional
switches like Downward, Upward, Stop, Emergency Operations
– Through the built-in 124×68 LCD Screen, all status of the operations and system
diagnostic could be monitored through messaging functions like Oil Status, Loop or Beam
Detector Status, Water Level inside cabinet, Blocker position
